Job brief

The Utility Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, improvement, and repair of the utility systems for our facility. This includes electrical, plumbing, compressed air, HVAC, and other systems as needed. The Utilities Supervisor will lead a team of technicians and provide guidance and support to ensure that all systems are operating efficiently and effectively.

• Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of all utility systems for the facility.
• Lead a team of technicians and provide guidance and support as needed.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure that all systems are operating efficiently and effectively.
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors as needed for repair and maintenance work.
• Monitor and track inventory of spare parts and supplies.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and address any issues related to utility systems.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Prepare and maintain documentation and records related to utility systems.
• Initiate and participate in CAPEX projects relating to the improvement and modernization of the utility systems at the site.

• Identify opportunities and implement solutions to increase the reliability of utility related equipment at the site.

• Associates degree in a technical field (minimum)
• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in an industrial setting is preferred
• CMMS experience, SAP experience is a plus
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic systems, pumps, and centrifugal air compressors
• Understanding of the fundamentals of maintenance work management processes
• Experience with precision maintenance techniques preferred
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Ability to respond to emergency calls outside of normal working hours when necessary
